About Us
PT. Young Shin World Zipper, a manufacturer specialized in zippers, was founded in 1992 and is located in Bandung, Indonesia. Together with the branches in Korea and China, YSW Zipper has gained trust from its customers ever since its establishment. The main branch situation in Indonesia consists of more than 300 employees who are ready to respond immediately to the clients’ needs and fully automating machines that can produce zippers right away on the spot, starting from tape weaving to dyeing, chain making, assembling, and packaging. The experience and know-how of YSW Zipper has provided a wider selection of zippers to its customers. Following the trend in which more diversified types of zippers emerge in the global zipper market, YSW Zipper has been developing itself consistently in order to meet each of its customer’s demand. The three company principals, including competitive price, excellent quality, and fast delivery system, have led YSW Zipper to become one of the leading zipper manufacturers in Asia. The company plans to further thrive as a trustful, reliable zipper manufacturer that can satisfy each and every customer’s needs in the 21st century.
Our History
1992
Young Shin Zipper Cooperation was founded by Mr. Ie Seop Choi in Seoul, Korea and the marketing begun.
1999
Young Shin World Zipper is established in Bandung, Indonesia.
2000
The dyeing factory was founded and dyed tapes begun to be produced. Furthermore, the company introduced molding system for plastic zippers and metal zippers and started producing die casting, such as slider and pull tap.
2003
YSW moved the main office corporate location to Kopo in Bandung, Indonesia, to expand the size of manufacturing.
2005
The company acquired Certification Oeko-Tex Standard 100 Class I from Testex in Swiss. Also, the name YSW was trademarked at Indonesia.
2006
The company introduced coil foaming system for polyester coil zippers (nylon).
2008
The weaving factory was founded and started to process tape and webbing, etc.
2010
Vislon injection machines was added.
2011
Metal and Coil NO.8 & 10 Zipper machines was added.
2012
Automatic line of Invisible zipper is added.
Our History
2013
Automatic plating machine for metal zippers was added and more automatic production line was added to the factory.
2014
JC Penney approved as per the alternative supplier for all exclusive and private brand production (include children’s)
2015
Automated assembling machines for sliders and die casting machines with higher capacity were added to production. Almost all zipper production process became automated.
2016
Auto paint machines, whole tape process machines, auto coil forming, and auto sewing machines were installed, significantly increasing the overall productivity.
2017
Adidas and HM nominate supplier begun.
2020

2023
- Recycled product begun for the whole tape with description product as RCS 100 % (100 % recycled post-consumer polyester) and the RCS blended for the zipper with product category as Functional Accessories.
- K MART begun corporate with YSW until now.
- Qualification of fire-proof zipper for use in automobile.
2024
Start of production of long zipper and water repellent zipper for outdoor bedding.
